Robots.txt file for Blogger:
Robots.txt file gives the instructions related to crawling to search engine robots about the pages in a website/blog. Using this file you can stop crawling certain pages on your website/blog. I'm not going to tell about the importance of robots.txt file now, Straightly I'm going to tell you how to enable Robots.txt file in your Blogger blog.
Step 2 : Click on Settings
Step 3 : Click on Search preferences under Settings
Step 4 : Click on Edit next to Custom robots.txt file
Step 5 : Select Yes and click on Save changes
That's it. You have successfully enable custom robots.txt file on your Blogger blog. After enabling custom robots.txt file, you can see text box to edit your robots.txt file. Add robotx.txt file code in that text box and Save changes. Don't try to edit robots.txt file without proper knowledge on robots.txt file.
