How to Add Meta Data To a Post in WordPress :

We can add some extra meta data to individual posts in our WordPress blog. It is easy to add meta data to posts in WordPress using the Custom Fields option.

Follow below steps to add meta data to posts in your WordPress blog.

Step 1 : Go to WordPress dashboard

Step 2 : Click on Screen option on right side top corner

Step 3 :  Check Custom Fields box under show on screen.

Step 4 : Now you can see Custom Fields module below the post editor.

Step 5 : Enter the name and value, and then click on the "Add Custom Field" button.
