Every new website/blog takes some time to appear on Google. If your blog does not appear in search engines after creation, it is better to submit it to all major search engines. Submitting your blog to search engines means asking them to crawl and index your blog properly, which can increase your blog traffic.
From an SEO perspective, submitting your blog to major search engines and also submitting your blog sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools is important. In this post, I will show you how to submit your blog sitemap to Webmaster Tools step by step..
How to submit your site/blog to search engines:
Create a sitemap: A sitemap is a file that lists all the pages on your site. Creating a sitemap will help search engines easily crawl and index your site. You can create a sitemap using free tools like XML Sitemap Generator or Google XML Sitemap Generator.
Submit your sitemap to Google: Sign in to Google Webmaster Tools, select your website, and click on the "Sitemaps" tab. Then, click on the "Add/Test Sitemap" button and enter the URL of your sitemap. Click "Submit" to send your sitemap to Google.
Submit your site to Bing: Sign in to Bing Webmaster Tools, select your website, and click on "Configure My Site" and then "Sitemaps." Enter the URL of your sitemap and click "Submit."
Submit your site to Yahoo: Go to the Yahoo Site Explorer, enter your site URL, and click "Add My Site." Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your site ownership and submit your sitemap.
Submit your site to other search engines: You can also submit your site to other search engines like Baidu, Yandex, and DuckDuckGo. Check their webmaster tools or submission pages for instructions on how to submit your site.
After submitting your site to search engines, it may take some time for them to crawl and index your pages. Be patient and regularly update your content to improve your search engine rankings.
After a few days, check if your blog posts/pages are indexed on the search engines you submitted your blog to. To do this, use the syntax "site:www.yourblogname.com".
Note: Replace "yourblogname" with the name of your actual blog/website.
Example: Go to Google and enter "site:www.yourblogname.com" in the search box and click enter. This will display all the blog posts that are indexed on Google.
