By default, the comments box will appear below all of your Blogger blog posts and static pages. However, many people forget to check the comments box below their static pages. This can be a problem if you have a Contact Us page and forget to disable the comments option, as the comments box will appear on that page as well. It's best to remove the comments box from static pages such as the About and Contact Us pages in your Blogger blog. To do this, you need to disable the comments on your static pages. Until you do so, the comments box will continue to appear on your Blogger static pages.
How to enable/disable comments on static pages in Blogger :
It is easy to enable or disable comments on posts or static pages in a Blogger blog. You can disable comments on all your static pages or on a specific page. In this post, I will show you how to enable or disable comments on a specific static page of your Blogger blog. In the previous post, I already showed you how to enable or disable comments on a particular blog post. The procedure is the same to enable or disable comments on a particular static page as it is for posts.Follow below steps to enable/disable comments on Blogger pages :
Step 1 : Go to Blogger Dashboard
Step 2 : Click on Pages
Step 3 : Click on edit pages
Step 4 : Click on options in page settings
( .) Allow
( ) Don't allow, show existing
( ) Don't allow, hide existing
Select one of the option in that list.
- If you select "Allow" option then comments will enable.
- If you select "Don't allow, show existing" option then comments will disable and previous comments will appear on page.
- If you select "Don't allow, hide existing" option then comments will disable and all previous comments on page will be delete.
After selecting any option click on Done button.
Step 5 : Click on Update
After disabling comments, you can enable comments on static pages of your Blogger blog at any time. This way, you can set comments on any static pages of your Blogger blog.
