Generally, people shorten URLs in blogs to make sharing those links easier. We can easily shorten post and page URLs in WordPress without using third-party tools. WordPress has its own URL shortening feature

Follow below steps to shorten posts and page link in your WordPress blog.

Step 1 : Go to WordPress Dashboard

Step 2 : Click on Edit posts

Step 3 : Now you can see Get Shortlink button, just below post title box

Step 4 : Click on Get Shortlink

Step 5 : Now the shortlink URL will appear in a small window, copy that and use it.

By following these steps, we can easily shorten the URLs of our WordPress posts and pages. Simply open the post or page and click on the "Get Shortlink" button. A short URL will then appear in a small window which you can copy and use for sharing. This feature is useful for social media sharing and to create clean and concise links for easy sharing.
