How to enable HTTPS on Blogger

HTTPS on Blogger:
HTTPS stands for Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure. It is an application protocol used by the World Wide Web (WWW) to define how messages are formatted and transmitted securely. HTTPS is considered the best option for data security. When using the HTTP protocol, data is transferred in plain text, which makes it susceptible to interception by hackers using sniffing tools. Therefore, to ensure data security, it is recommended to use the HTTPS protocol, which encrypts the transmitted data.

You can add any domain name that you have purchased from domain name registrars such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, Bigrock, and so on.

Alternatively, you can choose "Use a domain name that is not already associated with your account." If you choose the second option, enter the domain name without "www."

Step 4 : Now it shows "Verify Ownership." Before adding a domain name to your hosting account, it's important to assign name servers to your domain name. If you have already assigned name servers, you may not see the "Verify Ownership" options. However, if you haven't assigned name servers to your domain, you need to add them in order to verify ownership or follow any other verification options provided.

Step 5 :  Now, select "Addon Domain" and then choose the directory for your addon domain by selecting an option from the "Choose Addon Directory and Sub-domain" section. Once you have made your selection, click on "Assign this domain" to complete the process.
