Google+ Badges : Google+ provides many useful features like Google+ comments and badges for blogs. Google+ provides badges to promote blogs and mainly offers three different types of badges: Profiles, Pages, and Communities. Adding Google+ badges is one of the best ways to increase your blog traffic by making it easy for your blog visitors to follow you on Google+. In this post, we are going to discuss how to add Google+ badges to your Blogger blog.
Google+ Badge shows add to circles button on your blog after adding Google+ Badge to your Blogger blog. You can also customize Google+ badges as you like. Before adding Google+ Badge to your Blogger blog, first you have to upgrade from Blogger profile to Google plus profile.
Step 1 : Go to Blogger Dashboard
Step 2 : Click on Layout
Step 3 : Click on Add a Gadget
Step 4 : Add Google+ Badge widget by click on + button next to Google+ Badge widget.
Customize title, theme color and give Google+ profile ID or page ID if not selected.
Step 5 : Click on Save button to save changes.
That's it! You have successfully added a Google+ badge to your Blogger blog using the Google+ Badge widget. Now, open your blog and check the Google+ badge. If it's not appearing on your blog, then you may need to add a small script code to your Blogger template.
The script code is required to display/render the Google+ badge:

Now, check the Google+ badge on your Blogger blog again to see if it is appearing or not. This problem usually occurs when using old Blogger templates.

Two methods are there to add Google+ badges to your Blogger blog. One method is simply going to developers.google.com/+/web/badge, and get badge code and then add badge code to your Blogger blog. Second method is go to Blogger dashboard and add Google+ badge gadget to your Blogger. In this posts I'm going to show you how to add Google+ badges to your Blogger using Google+ badge widgets on your Blogger blog. - Add above script code before <head> tag in your template.
- Click on Save template.
