However, creating categories using Labels is the recommended method in Blogger.

We can customize post titles in a Blogger blog as we require. We can change the post title's text-alignment, font, color, and size. We can also add a background color to post titles and underline below post titles in Blogger. This post will help you to customize post titles in your Blogger blog for a better look.

Every Blogger template has custom CSS code for post titles. By adding small attributes, you can customize post titles in your Blogger. With every change in post titles CSS code in the Blogger template code, that effect will appear on all post titles in your Blogger blog.

Step 1 : Go to Blogger Dashboard

Step 2 : Click on Template

Step 3 : Click on Edit HTML

Step 4 : Search  .post h3 {   in your template code.

Note: use ctrl+F and type  .post h3 {     to go to that location.You can find code like below

How to align post title :

To align posts titles  to center -

• Insert new line  text-align: center;  after .post h3 {

For the right alignment -

• Add text-align: right; below .post h3 { 

For the left alignment -

• Add text-align:left; below .post h3 {

Like this you can change post title position in Blogger blog .

How to change post title font size : 

add below line to the CSS code of posts titles.

font-size: 16px; 

If you want to increase post title font, just replace 16 with high value in the above code, like this you can increase or decrease post title font size.

How to add background color to post title :

add below line 

background: #222222;

To change background color of post titles, simply change color code in the above line. 

How to add background image to post title : 

add below code to the post titles css code.

background: url("image url") no-repeat;

If you want to repeat image then replace no-repeat with repeat.

Step 5 : Click on Save template to apply changes.

Like this we can add many effects to post titles in Blogger blog.

Note : It is better to make a backup of your template before making any changes in your Blogger template. If you encounter any errors while editing the code in the template, the backup will help you.

Setting Comments For Pages in Blogger

By default, the comments box will appear below all of your Blogger blog posts and static pages. However, many people forget to check the comments box below their static pages. This can be a problem if you have a Contact Us page and forget to disable the comments option, as the comments box will appear on that page as well. It's best to remove the comments box from static pages such as the About and Contact Us pages in your Blogger blog. To do this, you need to disable the comments on your static pages. Until you do so, the comments box will continue to appear on your Blogger static pages.

How to enable/disable comments on static pages in Blogger :

It is easy to enable or disable comments on posts or static pages in a Blogger blog. You can disable comments on all your static pages or on a specific page. In this post, I will show you how to enable or disable comments on a specific static page of your Blogger blog. In the previous post, I already showed you how to enable or disable comments on a particular blog post. The procedure is the same to enable or disable comments on a particular static page as it is for posts.

Follow below steps to enable/disable comments on Blogger pages :

Step 1 : Go to Blogger Dashboard

Step 2 : Click on Pages

Step 3 : Click on edit pages

Step 4 : Click on options in page settings

( ) Don't allow, show existing

( ) Don't allow, hide existing

Select one of the option in that list.

• If you select "Allow" option then comments will enable.
• If you select "Don't allow, show existing" option then comments will disable and previous comments will appear on page.
• If you select "Don't allow, hide existing" option then comments will disable and all previous comments on page will be delete.

After selecting any option click on Done button.

Step 5 : Click on Update

After disabling comments, you can enable comments on static pages of your Blogger blog at any time. This way, you can set comments on any static pages of your Blogger blog.

Setting Comment Options For Individual Post

Suppose if you don't need comments on a particular post in your Blogger blog and want to stop comments on that post, then you have to disable comments on that particular post. This post will help you on how to allow or disable comments on an individual post in your Blogger blog.

How to change comments settings on individual post in Blogger : 

You don't need to enable comments on blog posts manually as comments are enabled by default on all posts and pages in Blogger. You can choose to enable, hide, or disable comments on individual posts in your Blogger blog as you require. To do this, simply navigate to the post settings options on the right side of your post editor box and select the comment options.

• If you want to enable comments, choose "Allow".
•  If you want to disable comments and show existing comments, then choose "Don't allow, show existing".
• If you want to disable comments and hide existing comments, then choose "Don't allow, hide existing".

Step 5 :  Click on the "Done" button after selecting an option and update your post

Like this, you can allow or disable comments on a particular post on your Blogger blog. You can also enable or disable comments on a particular page in a Blogger blog.

Click on background on blogger template designer --> select background image --> click on apply to blog to save.

How to adjust widths :

Click on adjust widths --> then adjust entire blog or right/left side with dragging white space bar on that.

How to change layout :

Click on layout --> select appropriate body layout and footer layout.

How to change font , bgcolor and text color in blog :

Click on advance --> From here, you can change the font, background color, and text color of your blog.
